This was a Vintage Circus theme Baby shower I threw for a friend. Halfway through the skies opened up and a monsoon destroyed everything and washed the party out but up until then it was one of my favorite designs I did. The centerpieces were 18-inch-tall square vases hand wrapped in vintage tickets i found on eBay. White table clothes with red overlays covered the tables. I found a vintage circus sign at a thrift store that i framed and along the flower bed were status of animals. There was a candy bar with newspaper designed bags to fill with vintage themed candies. 2 large tents were decorated with giant pom poms and draped in red and white fabric to bring round out the circus tent feeling. My favorite though was the favors, reusable shopping bags when rolled up looked like goldfish. i wrapped them in clear cellophane bags and tied with a ribbon as if they were won at a classic circus game we all remembered and loved.
